Delivery Information
We endeavour to deliver all individual orders within 3-5 working days and at a maximum within 5- 7 working days. Rural Delivery can take 1-2 days longer due to carrier conditions. If an item is brought in from overseas, or on back-order, then this can extend the delivery time, but you will be advised if this is the case as soon as possible. Unless otherwise specified, Gift & Registry purchases will be delivered on the date requested.
Charges
Our national delivery charges are FREE delivery within New Zealand for orders $50 incl GST and above. Delivery charges of $10 will apply for purchases $50 incl GST and below. International delivery charges are based on destination, size, and weight - this information will be advised by return email within 2 working days and seek your approval to charge your Credit Card.
Method
Our preferred courier company is Peter Baker Transport (PBT). A signature will be required at the time of the delivery. If no one is at the delivery address and during the ordering process you have not specified any Special Delivery Instructions, e.g. safe to leave when no one home, the Courier will leave a card with details for arranging a suitable delivery time by contacting them on 0800 FORPBT (0800 367 728) or email customerservice@pbt.com. Deliveries are weekdays only excluding public holidays.
Insurance
All orders are insured until delivered as instructed. Once an order has been delivered to the client-specified address it is considered completed and The Perfect Gift will not be held responsible for any items that are lost, stolen or damaged after delivery.
Your Obligations
It is imperative that during the order process you enter the correct delivery address and if possible a contact phone number for the recipient. If there is any client error in the address specified, redelivery to the correct address will incur a supplementary delivery charge.
It is the client's responsibility to promptly advise The Perfect Gift if an order is not delivered when expected. We will contact the courier company for clarification and arrange for prompt delivery. The Perfect Gift will not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from a late or missing delivery. A late delivery does not constitute reasonable means to cancel an order.
